Welcome to "Where
is the Pioneer Project Van".
The Pioneer volunteers are
off volunteering on another community service project.
Your mission, should you choose to accept, will be to find the city or
town in Massachusetts or Rhode Island, where the Verizon Pioneers are
working on a local community project.
This will be accomplished by solving clues to their location and
submitting your findings on the "Pioneer Project Van" link of the
verizonwjdenverpioneers.org
website.
Students and teachers can use Verizon Foundation's
on-line educational resource at
Thinkfinity.org. to find the
answers to many of the clues. Thinkfinity is a wonderful tool to be
explored at school and at home.

- Individual classrooms and home schooled
classes in Massachusetts and Rhode Island should register by May
9, 2008.

- The contest will begin on
Monday May 12
when the list of "Clues" will be sent to your email and posted
on our "bulletin board".
- Working as a team, your class has till 3:00
p.m. on Friday of that week to submit their answers on-line.
Each week, the classes who answer all the questions correctly
and come up with correct city or town where the Pioneers are,
will be placed into a random drawing for weekly prizes.
- Winning classes will be posted on the
"Bulletin Board" each Monday.
