On February 14^th, 2007 the Telecom Pioneers participated in the annual Salute to Hospitalized Veterans at the Soldier’s Home in Holyoke and the Veteran’s Medical Center in Leeds, Ma. This event takes place during the week of Feb. 14^th throughout the nation. This program was established by the VA in March of 1978 to: Pay tribute and express appreciation to America’s veterans;  to increase community awareness of the role of the medical facility and to encourage citizens to visit hospitalized veterans and to become involved as volunteers.    read on and see more pictures...
