Members of the Framingham Council of TelecomPioneers and WAVE (Women's
Association of Verizon Employees)
recently delivered children's books to Marlboro Hospital which in turn
were donated to the Reach Out and Read program. Children visiting the
hospital may take home a book they find in the waiting area as a result
of this program. The goal is to get as many
books into the hands of children as possible and this is just one way to
accomplish that task.
Over 400 New and Used books were donated to the program.
Deborah Foley, Season's Readings Coordinator for the TelecomPioneers and
Ann Cove delivered the donation of 400 books. Mr. McCrystal noted
that a Press Release will be sent to the local papers and were most
appreciative for the donation.
