The Greenfield Life Member club hosted a special guest at it's June 5 luncheon at the
Bluebonnet Diner in Northampton. Club members welcomed back to his home town,
a returning Iraq war veteran. A rousing applause and a big welcome home was given to
SMSgt. Todd Fappiano a member of the 104 th Fighter Wing from the Barnes ANG
base in Westfield.
SMSgt. Fappiano gave a brief talk about his duties and experiences in the 6 months that
he served in Iraq. He displayed his combat helmet and gas mask. He passed around
many pictures taken there.
Many of the Pioneers shook hands with him and welcomed him and gave all of his
squadron mates a hearty "well done"
