Pioneers sponsored a Welcome Home reception for Major Robert Callahan. Major Callahan (Bob) had been in Afghanistan and Iraq for over a year and a half. His assistant and long time Pioneer, Bob Cox, rallied employees in the building to donate various items to be sent to the Major's troops. Footballs during Superbowl, Red Sox paraphernalia during the Playoffs, Christmas Stockings during the holidays and even a video tape of well-wishers just saying HI were among some of the "themed" boxes sent. Pioneers helped to collect, box and pay for the postage to mail the boxes overseas.
