Alumni and students from the Bristol County Agricultural High School in Dighton, Mass. participated for the 3rd year at the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life held at Durfee High School in Fall River, Mass.

Sherwin and Denver Chapters contributed $500 to sponsor Pioneer partner Katy Foley and the "Cows for Cancer Cure" team. Aggie Alumni and teamalt="lighting lumineres" Captain Cahlin Furtado and co-captain Katy Foley rallied the 15 team members who solicited friends, families and company sponsors for donations. This year the team was recognized as a Bronze Team as they brought in approximately $3,000.00 for Cancer research.

Teams spent the night camped out around the track and took turns walking throughout the evening. There were many different "themes" for the teams. To date the Durfee/Fall River Relay for Life has collected more than $100,000 for Cancer research.

Many thanks to the Cows for Cure team for their dedication to this worthy cause and for their outstanding volunteerism.
