"A Book About Me", a personalized reader, was distributed by active and life members to 3058 students in 164 classrooms at 45 schools in the Western Massachusetts and Rhode Island area.  Kickoff's were held in Springfield, Massachusetts where Keshawn E. Dodds of the Mayor's office addressed the children and Warwick, Rhode Island where the Mayor spoke.  Many of the children commented that their mom's or dad's "had Verizon" and were aware of the "Verizon/Red Sox" summer reading program in Massachusetts.   view more pics.......                                                                 pictured are: Ed Kosciol on left and Keshawn Dodds
