National Hospitalized Vets Week Leeds, Mass.
On February 12, 2004 Pioneer volunteers visited the VA Center in Leeds, Ma. to deliver items from a wish list provided by the center. Jim Crosbie shopped earlier in the week for personal items and 60 minute calling cards to give to each vet. Jim also shopped for several DVD and CD players along with a good selection of movie and music CD's for the recreation room. Valentine Day cards were made by students from local schools and delivered to each vet. Pioneers have been participating in the National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans for over a decade.
