  I got the package from the Pioneers, and I also got a package from the third floor.  Let me tell you what great timing it was to get them yesterday.  A few days ago I had to send eight of my Marines to a pretty remote location on very short notice.  They left with what they could carry on their backs and they will be out there for a few weeks.  At their location they have no access to phones, e-mail, and very little mail.  I'm going out there to spend a few days with them over Christmas, but I didn't have anything good to bring them to brighten their Christmas - until the packages arrived.  I'm flying out there tomorrow with eight Christmas stockings courtesy of the Pioneers and each is full of wrapped presents courtesy of the third floor.  Because of your efforts, these eight Marines will now have a much brighter Christmas.  If you guys were looking to make a difference, you definitely have.    Please pass on to everyone involved my deepest appreciation.

We are going to continue to collect items for as long as they are needed.  We would like to send theme  boxes once a month.  This month's theme is the SUPERBOWL.  If you would like to participate we have "Callahan Central" set up in his cube # S3B34.  Some of the items that we are looking for this month are:  World Champion Patriots Garb, (wishful thinking) NON PERISHABLE snacks, magazines, DVD'S, hand cream, waterless hand soap and of course money.  We need to pay for the shipping which runs about $50.00 each month.   We plan on mailing our next shipment on January 16th.  Give me a jingle at x2489 or just stop by if you have any questions.
